The World Is Not Enough for Williams Tiger Canadian Women’s 9-Ball Tour / Ottawa, ON by InsidePOOL Staff On the weekend of October 23-24, Tailgators in Ottawa, Ontario, hosted a field of 15 players for a $1,000-added event, including the 2010 U.S. Open WPBA qualifier sponsor by Tiger Products, Bell Cues, and Tailgators. In the B side quarter, Veronique Menard was ousted by Darlene Gardiner 7-2 and Joanne Ashton defeated Krista Walsh 7-1. On Sunday the field grew smaller as Ashton kept the pressure on Gardiner, resulting in a 7-1 win as Gardiner settled for fourth place. On the other side of the chart, Brittany Bryant was on her A game and managed to clear mine fields at the table, which kept her hot seat status resulting a 7-4 score, sending Williams to the one lost side. In her next match against Ashton, Williams managed to brush her feelings aside and played her best game on the table. With 7-2 score win for Williams, Ashton settled for third place.
