10 K Tour Kicks Off at Pool Paradise by InsidePOOL Magazine

10 K Tour Kicks Off at Pool Paradise

Scott McDonald outlasted 62 other talented players to win the first tour on the 10 K Tour.  The field was full thanks to Pool Paradise in Waterloo, ontario, on October 9-10, showing their hospitality and making the players feel comfortable.

Many players made appearances to earn some of the 33 points required to play in the final event where at least $10,000 will be added.  Many traveled from Buffalo, NY, Niagara Falls, and London, ontario.

Dennis Hatch and McDonald met first in the hot seat match, where Hatch prevailed.  McDonald then met with Dave Parker in the semifinals, and he staved off elimination for a trip back to the finals.

In a true double-elimination final, McDonald bested Hatch in two straight sets to take first place, the pot of $2,150, and the points.

A second-chance tournament was also held for the first 16 players that were ousted.  Steve Barnhart claimed the $200 first-place prize, while Charlie Dopp took $100 and second place.

Results:

1st Scott McDonald $2,150
2nd Dennis Hatch $1,150
3rd Dave Parker $600
4th Ephriam Day $370
5th Tol Kuy, Roy Pennell $220
7th Larry Vandermaele, Graham Randall $150
9th Jason Holdway, Brad Lucas, Chris Orme, Terry Martin $60
