193 Players Show Up To 8th Annual Swannee Memorial by InsidePOOL Magazine

Many exciting matches took place, including a 9-5 win of Amar Kang over defending champion Ernesto Dominguez, Arturo Rivera’s win over Dan Wallace, and on the one-loss side, Angel Paglia ran through the brackets before getting knocked out by Victor Castro in a hill-hill match. on Sunday the rest of the tournament will conclude, with many exciting matches to come, including a match on the winners’ side between Tony Chohan and Amar Kang, Dave “The wave” Hemmah and Max Eberle, Morro Paez and Aaron “Ironman” Aragon, and Ian Castello and Glen Rosette.

The rules are Texas Express, rack-your-own, race to 9 on the winners’ side and the race on the one-loss side was shortened to 7 because of the incredible turnout.  The tournament, which was originally scheduled to start at noon, had play starting as early as 10:20 a.m. because of the amount of players in the tournament. on Sunday the final 48 players will battle it out to see who wins the Swannee Memorial.
