2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Qualifier Host Sites & Dates  

If you've got what it takes to play the pros, enter a Billiard Congress of America (BCA) Open 9-Ball Qualifier for the chance to compete in the 2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Championships. The winner of each qualifier earns a $500 entry into the professional event and a $500 travel allowance. The BCA Open 9-Ball Championships will be held May 16-22, 2004, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. The qualifiers will be held January through March 2004 at various BCA-Member billiard rooms throughout the country (see schedule below).

"This is our fourth year holding qualifiers," said BCA President Skip Nemecek. "Each year, the qualifier winners perform very well, often beating some of the biggest names in the tournament. It adds a new level of excitement to have amateurs or up-and-coming professionals compete against the very best players in the world."

A player may enter more than o­ne qualifier. Pro players already invited to participate in the BCA Open 9-Ball Championships are ineligible to compete in any of the qualifiers. 2004 qualifier winners who accept the invitation to play in the professional event are ineligible to play in any division of the 2004 BCA National 8-Ball Championships, which are held concurrently to the 2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Championships.

Ralf Souquet and Karen Corr will defend their 2003 titles against fields of the top-64 men and top-64 women 9-Ball professionals in the world. This is o­ne professional event you don't want to miss! Tickets will go o­n sale February 2, 2004.
