2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Sponsors Will Reach Millions of Billiard Fans  Billiard Congress of America (BCA) President Skip Nemecek announced the corporate sponsors of the 2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Championships: Connelly Billiards (Official Table), McDermott Cue Mfg. (Official Cue), Championship Billiard Fabric (Official Cloth), Econo Lodge (Hotel Partner), Imperial International (Official Ball), Tweeten Fibre Co. (Official Chalk), Sardo Tight Rack (Official Rack), Riviera Hotel & Casino (Official Host), BCA Leagues (Arena) and American Pool Players Association (Arena).
"We're very pleased with our slate of sponsors," said Mr. Nemecek. "The 2003 event received 28 hours of airtime on ESPN and ESPN2. Each sponsor receives a rotating banner that appears in every broadcast, so they're getting a great value for their investment." Sponsorships are still available for title, presenting, furniture, lighting and arena. Companies may bid on these categories if their brand name or product does not infringe on the exclusive category sponsorships for table, cue, cloth, hotel, ball, chalk and rack. The 2004 BCA Open 9-Ball Championships will be held May 16-22, 2004, at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Ralf Souquet and Karen Corr will defend their 2003 titles against fields of the top-64 men and top-64 women 9-Ball professionals in the world. Four entries in each division are reserved for winners of the BCA Open 9-Ball Qualifiers held January through March 2004. Tickets will go on sale February 2, 2004.
