The U.S. Open player entry fee is $500.  After September 1, 2004, the entry is $550, no exceptions.  There is $50,000 added minimum, and with a full field of 256, Barry will add $72,000, which equals a total prize fund of $200,000 with the champion taking home $40,000.  With a full field, 96 players will be paid.
