In the o­ne-loss side, Dee Adkins and Jose Parica met o­n the feature table at Northfield Billiards.  The players fought tooth and nail to trade games until the score reached 9-all.  After a safety battle over the 2 ball, Adkins ran out to take the hill, but he scratched o­n his next break and Parica tied him at 10.  From there it was all “The Giant Killer,” as he made three balls o­n his last break and ran the rest of the rack to win 11-10.
