One of the most exceptional matches of the afternoon was between early tournament favorite Shannon “The Cannon” Daulton and Viking Cue player rep Dennis “The Bear” Coulter.  Regarding his stunning 3-1 victory over Daulton, Coulter commented, “I think I caught him off guard.  I think he thought I was a lot weaker player than he was.”  Coulter gives a great deal of credit to Joe Salazar of Salazar Cues for immensely improving his o­ne-pocket game. 

The 9-ball event kicks off tomorrow afternoon; the draw is at   So far, there are 243 players already signed up, and more are arriving all of the time.  Recently joining us were Ralf Souquet, winner of last year’s U.S. Open, and George SanSouci, in addition to many fans and spectators.
