And Then There Were 6 by InsidePOOL Magazine

CliffJoyner5.JPGScott "The Freezer" Frost, Larry Nevel, and last year's defending all-around champion, Jose Parica, are the only three left with the buy-back option still available to them.  Tonight's matches will be as follows:

Scott Frost vs. Larry Nevel

Cliff Joyner vs. Dee Atkins

Jose Parica vs. Charles Bryant

In the Round Nine matches, Scott Frost eliminated Alex "The Lion" Pagulayan, last year's runner-up to Ralf Souquet in the U.S. Open, by the score of 3-1.  This was an intense match to watch; it moved quickly and was entertaining as well.

The 9-ball event is well under way.  Round Two will end tonight after the 9 PM matches, and Round Three will be drawn at that time.  Some notable matches include the defeat of Mika "Iceman" Immonen by Bert Kinister, Jr., Eric Durbin winning over Tony Watson, and Grady Mathews defeating Aaron "Ironsides" Aragon.
