San Antonio Can't Tame Lampert by InsidePOOL Magazine

San Antonio Can't Tame Lampert

By InsidePOOL Staff

Amanda Lampert continued her road to the pros on April 10, when she won her second Fast Eddie's Olhausen 9-ball event of the season.  once again, though, Heather Pulford was right on her heels all the way to the finals.

The event, held at Fast Eddie's-Culebra in San Antonio, drew 20 ladies, including Kim Pierce and Corina Campbell.  While Pulford made her run to the finals from the one-loss side, Lampert calmly plowed through the winners' bracket to take the hot seat against Kawania Watson.

In the semifinals, Pulford continued her run by ousting Watson and returning to face Lampert in another final match.  The double-elimination final started off with Pulford winning the first set 7-4.  But in the second set, Lampert proved a bit too much, earning her second tour victory 7-3.

Results:

1st Amanda Lampert $460
2nd Heather Pulford $315
2nd Kawania Watson $195
4th Kyu Yi $120
5th Kim Pierce, Melinda Hinojosa $50
