Miller dropped a ball on the break and banked one in. Runnels chose to duck, and Miller had a quick three-ball run, including a super-thin long-rail bank on the 4, paused, and then banked the 8 ball straight back to win the match 3-1. Tomorrow will crown the 9-ball banks champion, while the one-pocket event kicked off today, with over 350 players. Cliff Joyner, Scott Frost, defending champion Efren Reyes, and Jose Parica are only a few of the topnotch entrants making their bid. 2005 Derby City Classic Image Gallery Visit InsidePOOL for the latest news on the Derby City Classic.
