On Thursday, April 1 and Friday, April 2, the floor will open at 10:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m. o­n Saturday, April 3, the floor will open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m. The BCA Expo will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center (South Hall) in Las Vegas, NV, with educational seminars and the annual BCA General Membership Meeting o­n March 31, 2004.

Demand for additional time with exhibitors has grown steadily over the past few years. Beginning in 2001, buyers have been able to meet with exhibitors by appointment before the Expo officially opens each morning. This allowed two additional hours each morning for private meetings. But because buyers who have pre-show appointments must be escorted to and from the Expo entrance, BCA Trade Show Committee members felt that additional non-restricted hours were needed as well.

As of October 30, 2003 (156 days from the start of the Expo), BCA Trade Show Committee Chair Roger Blank reports that there are currently 171 exhibitors registered to rent 1,108 booths. "Exhibitor registration is o­n pace with last year, and booth rental is ahead of pace. We're getting a lot of positive responses to the date change, and we expect a record crowd," said Mr. Blank.

Under the direction of BCA Director of Trade Services Carolyn Lewis, the BCA staff has made over 4,000 calls to billiard room operators and billiard/home-recreation retailers to personally invite them to the BCA Expo and discuss opportunities for BCA members. "The room operators and retailers are enthusiastic about not o­nly the Expo, but also the other benefits of BCA membership, including business insurance, freight discounts and the new credit card processing program that can earn a company a free year of membership," said Ms. Lewis.

The BCA is a national non-profit organization, dedicated to providing its members with exceptional value by promoting and growing cue sports worldwide. The BCA supports its membership with educational programs, trade expos, tournaments and other programs designed to make pool everybody's game.
