In the pro arena, George Breedlove came out of retirement to upset Corey Deuel in a grueling match by the score of 11-8, while Rodney "The Rocket" Morris put an 11-3 smackdown on Santos Sambajon, Jr. Denny "The Bear" Coulter defeated Martin Rimlinger in a tough match, with the ultimate score being 11-9. Norway's Niels Feijin met up with InsidePOOL Magazine's 2002 Player of the Year, Francisco Bustamante, and was defeated 11-6. And "Mad Max" Eberle (pictured), who has stepped up his game quite a bit in the past year, won his match against Canada's Paul Potier 11-8 with a 1-9 carom. Pool's leading lady, Allison Fisher, triumphed in her match against Tiffany Nelson by the score of 9-7. "The Irish Invader," Karen Corr, met up with Jennifer Chen and came away victorious 9-6. Helena Thornfeldt sent Sarah Ellerby to the one-loss side when she won their match 9-5, and Vivian Villareal defeated Melissa Herndon by the score of 9-5 as well.
