Shin-Mei Lui, Hsin Huang, Miyuki Sakai, and Ga Young Kim make up some of the international field in the women's division. Up-and-comers such as Sarah Rousey, Sueyen Rhee, Rachael Abbink, Stephanie Boch, and Alice Rim are all o­n-hand to see what damage they can do.  And tour constants such as Fisher, Corr, Jeanette Lee, Helena Thornfeldt, Vivian Villareal, Jennifer Chen, and Loree Jon Jones are present as well to defend their rankings.

An even more international field turned up for the men's division, with the Philippines heavily represented in Efren "The Magician" Reyes, Bustamante, Rodolfo "Boy Samson" Luat, Jose Parica, and Santos Sambajon.  Niels Feijen and Nick Van den Berg, both of Holland, are present, along with a strong contingent from Canada including John Horsfall, Alex Pagulayan, Luc Salvas, and Paul Potier.  Along with the defending champion, Souquet, reigning world champion Thorsten Hohmann is o­n hand.  Hometown heroes are well-represented by Johnny Archer, Max Eberle, Rodney Morris, Buddy Hall, Larry Nevel, Corey Harper, Mike Davis, U.S. Open champ Jeremy Jones, John Schmidt, and many others.
