White defeated Hoeppner 7-3 in the hot seat match.  In fact, no o­ne was able to get past four games against White the entire length of the tournament.  White then waited for the winner of the Burris/Hoeppner match.  With Burris defeating Hoeppner, White, a native of Spartansburgh, SC,  found himself facing Burris, defeating him soundly 7-0.  Interestingly, this is Burris' second consecutive second-place finish o­n the Viking Tour.

The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will have their next two events simultaneously next weekend.  o­ne event will take place at Quintin Corner Pocket in Palitine, IL, and the other event will be at Gametime/Riptide in Greenville, SC.  Mike Janis will be present in Greensville, SC.
