White defeated Hoeppner 7-3 in the hot seat match. In fact, no one was able to get past four games against White the entire length of the tournament. White then waited for the winner of the Burris/Hoeppner match. With Burris defeating Hoeppner, White, a native of Spartansburgh, SC, found himself facing Burris, defeating him soundly 7-0. Interestingly, this is Burris' second consecutive second-place finish on the Viking Tour. The Viking Cue 9-Ball Tour will have their next two events simultaneously next weekend. one event will take place at Quintin Corner Pocket in Palitine, IL, and the other event will be at Gametime/Riptide in Greenville, SC.
