Brinson Bests the Competition o­n J. Pechauer Southeast Tour

Charlie Brinson took top honors at the J. Pechauer Southeast Open 9-Ball Tour the weekend of May 1-2, 2004.  Held at o­n Cue Sports Bar in Greenville, NC, owner Frank Owens made it possible for this to be a $1,000-added stop o­n the tour, with the local charity receiving a donation as well. 

After Reno Open champion and Maryland resident Mike Davis sent tour director Tommy Kennedy to the o­ne-loss side o­n Sunday, “TK” worked his way back to the finals.  Local favorite Brinson was waiting there for him and was not to be denied, as he took first place.
