Brunswick Korea Pro Pool Tour ContinuesBy InsidePOOL Staff The Second Annual Dragon Promotions Seoul Open is on its third day, and thus far, the field has remained steady. Many of the top Korean homeland players and the top foreigners have fared well.
A total of four qualifier tournaments were held for men, and one was held for the women. Ralf Souquet, Thorsten Hohmann, and Max Eberle all moved on, along with Hiroshi Takenaka and defending Seoul Open champion Charlie Williams. While the U.S. and German men were handing out defeats, the Korean women were doing well representing their country. Sixteen-year-old Korean sensation Yuram Cha upset Japan's twelfth-ranked pro player Sakiko Namiki and later Saeko Moori. The only non-Korean woman to win a first-round match was Taiwan's Van Jui Fang. Matches continue today and more information can be found at www.onthehill.jp/.
