Bustamante Beats Reyes in the Semis by InsidePOOL Magazine

EfrenICOC.JPGThe second set was completely skewed in Bustamante's favor.  Reyes failed to make a ball on the break, and Bustamante ran out, and then broke and ran the next rack.  Reyes' second chance at the break had the same results, and after only two times at the table, Reyes found himself down 4-0 to countryman Bustamante.  Reyes made a ball on his next break and ran out handily, but missed a 2-6 attempt in the next rack after Bustamante didn't make anything on the break, and that was that.  Bustamante seized the opportunity and ran out the rest of the rack to win the second set 5-1.

The final winner-take-all match will be between Francisco Bustamante and Canadian champ John Horsfall for $50,000.
