CANADA'S SPORTSNET TO BROADCAST U. S. OPEN 9-BALL SERIES

13-Match Schedule Already a Hit in Canada

ST LOUIS, MO – Billiard Club network announces a broadcast distribution agreement with Rogers SportsNet, a leading Canadian TV sports network, for the 2004 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship Series. The 13-match broadcast series has already begun airing with great ratings and will continue with hundreds of repeats throughout 2005 and into spring of 2006.SportsNet is available to 8 million cable homes across Canada through four regional networks, East, ontario, West, and Pacific. Each SportsNet regional will carry the series based on their individual schedules. A weekly schedule of times can be found on Sportsnet's TV Schedule page online, by searching billiards.

"This is the third year Sportsnet has picked up the option on the U.S. Open," said Rob Sykora, president of BCn. "The event definitely has a Canadian flavor with seasoned announcer Jim Wych calling matches and Canadian Champion Luc Salvas playing in a featured match. The Open plays very well in Canada with SportsNet viewers. They've been following the event through a weekly broadcast schedule for three years."

Rogers SportsNet is a subsidiary of Rogers Media and Rogers Communications Inc, one of Canada's largest media enterprises comprising 30 radio stations, a televised home shopping channel, a multicultural television station in Toronto, ownership interest in three cable programming services, 11 consumer magazines, 40 business periodicals, directories and information products, along with a new media division that is a leading provider of Canadian Internet content.

This year will mark The 30th Annual U. S. Open 9-Ball Championship, held every year at the Chesapeake Conference Center in Chesapeake, VA. For more information, visit the event home page at www.usopen9ballchampionships.com.
