Charlie Williams Charlie is the founder and former President of the UPA. Some of his titles include the Big Apple and Capital City. Williams, known in the pool world as the Korean Dragon, started his playing career at the age of 13 in a poolroom in Newport News, Va., where he spent his time there practicing on Brunswick tables. At the age of 14, Williams won his first title at the BCA Junior Nationals and recalled one of his favorite memories at the competition as having his picture taken with his largest inspiration, a legendary pool player and fellow Brunswick Player Representative, Mike Sigel.
