The finals were true double elimination with Corr having to win both races to 7, while Shaw only had to win one race. In the first race to 7, Corr jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Shaw put herself on the scoreboard. Reaching the hill first at 6-2, Corr then capitalized on a 4-9 carom to win 7-2.
The next match was much closer, with neither player taking any chances in any questionable situation. Shaw made a small 3-1 lead on her opponent, but soon Corr battled back to go ahead 4-3. Shaw answered with 2 games to lead 5-4, but a miss on the 5 ball in the tenth rack allowed Corr back to the table, where she ran out that rack and the last two racks to win 7-5. Jennifer Barretta won the qualifier for the 2004 U.S. Open, and Liz Scwartzreich won the Coors Light Qualifier for the 2003 WPBA Nationals. JPNEWT wishes to thank J.
