Evening Rounds Wrap Up by InsidePOOL Magazine

Evening Rounds Wrap Up

TommyKennedysuperbilliardsC.jpgThe last round of the men's evening matches are wrapping up at Valley Forge, PA.  Tomorrow's matches will see 48 of the original 64 players return.  In a purely Canadian match-up, "Machine Gun" Luc Salvas met up with Danny Hewitt, who won the Trump 10-Ball tournament last month in Atlantic City.  Hewitt was up 5-2, 6-4, 9-5, and ultimately won 10-5, sending Salvas to the one-loss bracket to play another Canada resident, Alex Pagulayan, tomorrow morning.

In a tight match between Tommy Kennedy and Tony Robles, with Kennedy on the hill, he missed the 2 ball.  Robles ran out to close the gap, but Kennedy got back on the table and ran out the rack to win.

Winners' bracket matches at 1:30 PM Saturday will be as follows:

Rodney Morris vs. Santos Sambajon, Jr.

Danny Harriman vs. Tommy Kennedy

Jimmy Wetch vs. Jose Garcia

Johnny Archer vs. Danny Hewitt

Charlie Williams vs. Steve Knight

Mika Immonen vs. Evgeny Stalev
