Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour Winding Down

By InsidePOOL Staff

pool_billiards_McCready1207.jpgThe Falcon Cue 9-Ball Tour's $3,000-added event this weekend at Champion Billiards in Laurel, MD, began Saturday with 66 men and 20 women.  The smaller field can be attributed to the fact that there was a lot of snow in the area recently and many did not want to venture out for the event.

The Falcon Tour seeded their top 16 players on the points list, and all but one, Amar Kang, showed up.  One by one, the top 16 fell during the course of the weekend.  Mike Davis, the current points leader for the tour, will face Kevin West, and Tommy Kaye will meet Ryan McCreesh in the one-loss side.  The undefeated Keith McCready awaits the outcome of the match between Jim Henson and Brad Grasso.  The winner of that match will play McCready in the hot seat match.

The finals are estimated to begin around 7 p.m. this evening.
