Germany’s Ralf Souquet, a former U.S. Open champion, defeated Efren “Bata” Reyes in a hill-hill thriller o­nly to meet Corey Deuel o­n the television table and suffer a stunning 11-1 loss.  Deuel went o­n to meet Q Master Billiards house pro Dave Bollman and send him packing with an 11-6 defeat.  Deuel will face the loser of the match between Immonen and Owen in the o­ne-loss bracket matches later tonight.

There will be two rounds of play o­n Saturday evening—the winners’ bracket at 7 p.m. and the o­ne-loss side at 10 p.m.  There are three rounds of play o­n Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.
