Fisher Goes Two for Two on WPBA Tour by InsidePOOL Magazine

Fisher, who was again the number-one seed in the bracket, earned 9-6 wins in her first two matches before dominating Julie Melman and Ga-Young Kim with 9-3 victories in the third and fourth round.  Then Allison Fisher sent Kelly Fisher to the one-loss side with a 9-7 win, propelling herself into the hot seat match against Nelson.

Nelson's bracket was equally, if not tougher than Fisher's.  After two quick victories to open up her tournament, Nelson went to the wire with Karen Corr but emerged with the 9-8 win.  Then she scored back-to-back 9-7 wins over Helena Thornfeldt and Vivian Villarreal before Fisher sent her to the semifinals in a 9-5 defeat.

Meanwhile, the one-loss side was being dominated by Monica Webb, who fell in the second round to Romana Dokovic 9-7.  She put together three straight wins, including a 9-4 decision over Dokovic to oust her from the tournament.  Webb also outlasted Corr in a hill-hill duel but fell to Villarreal by the same score.  Villarreal then ousted Kelly Fisher before being sent home with a third-place finish by Nelson in the semifinals.
