Both before and after the match, Hofstatter appeared distracted by her stroke and remarked, “I’ve been having trouble with my mechanics.  I changed a few things, and it just wasn’t feeling right.” 

Kelly Fisher earned a $10,000 paycheck for her first win in her first year o­n tour.  Hofstatter picked up $7,000 for second place and Vivian Villarreal took home $5,500 for third.

Kelly Fisher, born in Carlisle, England, came to the USA in just last year after a spectacular, but underpaid, snooker career in Europe, following the very successful path of Allison Fisher and Karen Corr.
