Hernandez proceeded into the final match with Gerardo Jamito. In the first set, Hernandez took a commanding 8-0 lead, only to relax and allow Jamito to the table. With ideas of a comeback, Jamito was able to fight back to win 5 games but Hernandez proved to be too powerful for Jamito to complete the near impossible feat. After winning the first set, Hernandez used his momentum to caost to an impressive 9-3 victory.
