The format is alternating break, a race to seven, and matches must be won by a two-game margin.  Until the last two racks, no o­ne managed to break and run out.  When the score reached 6-4 in Horsfall's favor, Souquet, who was breaking, was extra careful, breaking and running out.  Unfortunately for the 2002 U.S. Open champ, Horsfall showed an equal amount of determination and broke and ran to win the match 7-5.
