Jay Swanson Memorial Event The Eighth Annual Jay Swanson Memorial Event, which is being held this Saturday and Sunday, on January 31-February 1, 2004, is considering opening their field up from 128 players to 256. Currently the event has 128 players with 20 on the waiting list. If there are 20 more players who call in, the event will open to 256. This event, held annually in honor of late San Diego player Jay Swanson, is being held at Gaslamp Billiards and College Billiards. Tournament Director Jay Helfert will begin the event at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning. The entry fee is currently $65.
