Jeanette Lee Crowned Champion of Champions! by InsidePOOL Magazine

The second set looked like it would be a repeat of the first when Fisher got to 2-0, but Lee won the next three in a row to take the lead for the first time.  Two break-and-runs by both ensured Lee the hill with Fisher at 3, and then “The Duchess of Doom” tied it at 4 apiece.  Fisher sold out after a Lee safe in the final rack to give Lee the second set 5-4 and to set the sudden death tiebreaker into motion.

AllisonFisher1107a.jpgFisher won the lag, and after trading safes, it was Lee who ended up in charge of the table.  With sharp shots and excellent position play, Lee dropped the final 9 ball to win the $25,000 first-place prize.
