Jimmy Reid Jimmy Reid has lived all over the world playing pool, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Germany. Currently residing in Goodlettesville, TN, he makes his way to every major tournament he possibly can. Jimmy has a list of titles a mile long, including the 1977 World Convention 9 Ball Championship; the 1979 BCA National 8-Ball Championship, played on 4.5’ X 9’ tables with over 4300 entries; the 1980 World Classic 8-Ball Championship, with $25,000 for first place; the 1985 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, in which Jimmy shot the highest Accu-Stats match of the tournament in the finals; and the 1988 “King Of The Ring,” where the top 12 players in the world 9-ball have a shootout as seen on ESPN. He also accrued six 9-ball and two 8-ball European Open Championships from 1992 to 1994. His collection of instructional videos and tapes has received rave reviews for years. He currently is on our staff, and every month he will be teaching you all the tricks and tips of the trade that helped to make him the player he is.
