One-pocket specialist Scott “The Freezer” Frost also bounced back from defeat yesterday to defeated Pagulayan 3-2 in the sixth round and then faded legend Ronnie Allen 3-0 in an good-natured seventh-round game where both players did as much talking as playing.

The remaining players began their eighth round matches at 10 p.m., with Alex Pagulayan catching a bye.  There are 336 entrants who also began their bid for the 9-ball title o­n the sixth day of the Derby City Classic. Mosconi Cup heroes “Rocket” Rodney Morris and Charlie “The Dragon” Williams plus Danny “Kid Delicious” Basavich have flown in especially to play with high hopes of glory.
