McDERMOTT CUE UNVEILS "CUE OF THE MONTH" PROGRAM

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI. - January 5th, 2004: McDermott Cue Manufacturing Inc.has announced the "Cue of the Month" (CotM) program that will impact the waynew cues are released in 2004.

In the past, McDermott's strategy was to release a line of cues, anywherefrom 6 to 25 new cues, at the BCA Show. Their new strategy is to release 12cues a year, and release them o­ne at a time each month in conjunction withother new cues released primarily for the BCA Show.

"Last year we had a successful launch of 25 new designs at the BCA Show. Butwe couldn't expect our dealers to purchase all 25 of those cues in o­neorder. The Cue of the Month program results in a stronger partnership withour dealers when introducing new product as our customers can now spread outtheir purchases. Additionally, we've given our dealers some added incentivesin discounts, distribution protection, and guarantees to gain theirsupport", says Claude Napier, President and CEO of McDermott Cue.

January's "Cue of the Month" cue, the M4-3A "Tucson", is available now. The"Tucson" has a suggested retail price of $300 and features light birdseyemaple with 35 rings of bacote, brass, and urethane.
