Miller Wins KBP Fury Carolina Stop

The KBP Fury Carolina Amateur 9-Ball Tour held its ninth stop o­n May 15, 2004, at Game Time/RipTide. The 30 players came from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to participate in this event. The game changed with each bracket as Robert Ray sent Tony Miller to the o­ne-loss side, while Jimmy Faircloth held his own o­n the winners’ side.  Ray went to the o­ne-loss side to be placed in third place, while Tony Miller came o­n through the west side to meet up with Jimmy Faircloth for the hot seat. The first four games between Miller and Faircloth were even, but then Miller gradually widened the gap for a 9-5 win.
