The final match pitted Mills against Morris for the second time today, although this time the stakes were higher, and it was a single race to 13. Morris started with a break-and-run, only to have Mills win two quick games. Morris then took four straight racks, including two more break-and-runs, taking the lead again 5-2. They traded games until it reached 6-4 but then Morris took another two games with the help of a 4-9 combo. Two more games later, Mills jumped the cue off the table with only two balls left, giving Morris ball in hand on the 8 and 9, bringing the score to 10-4. Again they traded until it was 12-6 with Morris on the hill. Mills tried to fight back, winning the next three in a row, but in the end Morris took the last game he needed to win the event 13-9.
