New President and Vice President of Dragon Promotions

Dragon Promotions proudly announces its new President Steve Choy and Vice-President Cindy Lee.

DP owner and founder Charlie Williams started his company four yearsago and has quickly become o­ne of the most established promoters inthe pool world through his DP company.  Williams also founded the UPA(United States Professional poolplayers Association) and remainsranked in the top 10 in the men's pro tour.

DP currently produces such events as The UPA Atlanta Open, The PatriotCup, The Predator Central FL Open, and Predator Pro Poolschools.  DPalso produces international events such as The Mezz Seoul Open, TheBrunswick Korea International Championships, both part of theBrunswick Korea Professional Pro Pool Tour.

"I have hired these two new people to restructure and run DP. Theirbackground in marketing and business will help DP grow much morerapidly and help DP provide better services to the pool community."says Williams. "I feel completely confident in both their abilitiesand I know  DP is in good hands."

As Williams steps down as President of DP, the everyday duties andoperation running will be transferred over to new President of DPSteven Choy and to the new Vice-President Cindy Lee.

Steve Choy, a graduate of the University of Illinois,Champaign-Urbana, has a strong business backround working in finance,marketing, and retail strategy.  He is also involved at the retaillevel of the industry as a billiards room entrepreneur.

Cindy Lee, a graduate of the University of Illinois - Chicago, alsocomes from a strong business backround as a former marketing andforecasting analyst for Motorola.  Her expertise in real estateinvestment, small business ownership, and manufacuring logistics roundout her diversity as well.

"We are excited about the opportunity to be involved in the promotionof the sport of billiards," says Steve Choy.

Dragon Promotions next project is The 3rd Annual UPA US Pro TourChampionships in Los Angeles, Jan 4-9, at the Bicycle Casino. It willbe an ESPN televised event.
