Two hours earlier, at 7 p.m., Tony Robles will face Gabe Owen and Max Eberle will match up against Danny “Kid Delicious” Basavich.  Robles advanced with a win over Jeff White on Monday, while Owen bested Robert Krull 11-7.  Basavich was his usual self, shutting out Jay Paranich 11-0, and Salvas outlasted Blaine Sell 11-9.

Other players staving off elimination today are Charlie “The Korean Dragon” Williams, who fell to former world champion Thorsten Hohmann 11-8.  He is facing Ben Zimmer this afternoon.

Frank Alvarez also fought off elimination today with an 11-10 win after falling to Eberle 11-5 on Monday.  Finally, Johnny Archer, who drew a first-round bye, faces Brian Mahan tonight as well. While Thursday night’s  final match should be a thrilling contest to watch, fans should pay attention to today’s matches, with some of the game’s best players squaring off against one another.  The final match takes place Thursday night at 8 p.m. with the winner taking home $6,000.
