Northeastern Open Artistic Pool Championship March 19th, 20th & 21st Shooters Billiards 15 Spring Street Southington, CT The event will start with a players meeting on Friday March 19th at 7pm. The rules, along with the first 2 rounds pairings will be done at this time. We are trying to make this a $5000 or more added event:
$2000 will be added by the local APA league of Connecticut. $1000 will be added by the Dr. Cue promotions * $2000 will be added by the host location * Dr Cue Promotions add on will be used as part of “grass roots” player incentives and training program, which pays 9th thru 24th place. Balance of add on money ($4000) will be paid to top 8 positions in fair distribution payout. Entry fee is $200 US, plus there is an optional IAPA player $25 membership fee ** ** IAPA membership required only for eligibility to receive end of year points funding for 1) position of finish, 2) discipline wins, 3) completion of program. Event is open to anyone from 6 WPA continental federations Special Note: IAPA player/general members in good standing that have already paid the $25 fee, and those that join as a result of this event will be considered eligible for the special points funding program created by Dr. Cue Promotions. This funding payback will be explained at this event and will cover all approved events through December 31, 2004. All players must abide by code of conduct and dress requirements. (Explained in 2004 program or go to artisticpool.org for information.)
We will need at least 2 tables for the competition and 2 practice tables. Cloth must be in fairly good condition. 860 Simonis or Granito The tournament tables will be gridded with marked lines and points, which will determine ball position and scoring zones, as applicable
Saturday start will be at 12:00 Noon
Raffle goes to Sal Conti.
40 shots/challenges from 2004 program
2 awards for 1st & 2nd provided by host location 8 discipline medals and 1 sportsmanship medal with approximate cost of $40 will be sponsor contributed, and 2 CD’s (APM2003) created by Rick Malm will be donated by Dr. Cue Promotions via the training and player incentives program

Centennial or pro Aramith balls Blue circle cue balls
Balls will not be polished or doctored in any way; however the table judge may at a player request wipe off the balls with a clean “untreated” white cloth.
