Owens Defeats Daulton for Hot Seat at Music City by InsidePOOL Magazine

ShawnPutnamMusicsemis.jpg

Putnam finally got a shot a turned the momentum around when Joyner made an onforced error.   Joyner's only opportunity the rest of the set came when Putnam was forced to push out on a 1-5 combination that was hanging in the side.  Joyner refused the shot and Putnam made a jump shot to pocket the combination and slopped in the 9 ball on the same stroke.  Putnam kept possession of the table and came back to win the match 11-10.

In the women's division, Pam Bell was eliminated by Monica Webb 7-3, settling for third place.  Defending champion Webb will go on to play Helena Thornfeldt in the finals and will have to defeat her twice to win the event.  The finals will be at 5 PM Sunday.
