Parica Powers Through Nevel in One-Pocket Finals by InsidePOOL Magazine

LarryNevel22.jpg

In the third and final game, Parica was on the hill to Nevel's 3 when Nevel made a tremendous one-rail bank and then left an easy crossbank for Parica, which he missed.  Nevel played a fantastic kick to get Parica's ball out of his pocket and parked the cue behind a ball on the opposite end of the table and sat down with a smile.  However, Parica got himself out of jail.  Nevel made an excellent two-rail bank to bring the score to 6-5 Parica, but then he tried for a long-rail combo and fell short, allowing Parica to run out his last two balls, winning the match 3-0.

On a side note, Max Eberle was awarded "Best Dressed Pool Player" for the tournament.
