Park Victorious in J. Pechauer Southeast Tour Opener

Ron Park took top-honors as the J. Pechauer Southeast 9-Ball Tour held its first stop of the season o­n May 14-15.  K-O Corral Billiard Club in Enterprise, AL, played host to the event that paid out the top four places. 

In the hot seat match Park bested George Rothrock 7-4, sending him to the o­ne-loss side to face Scotty Townsend.  Townsend earned his spot in the semifinal by topping Tommy Kennedy 7-4 before his date with Rothrock.  The semifinal featured Townsend defeating Rothrock 7-4 to advance o­n to play Park in the final match.

The finals were taken by Park 9-6 as he claimed the tour's first title of the season.
