Paul Berg

      Paul Berg is a staff writer for InsidePOOL Magazine, as well as occasional tournament director for Player’s Place in Mount Pleasant, SC. At 16, pocket billiards entered his life about the same time as skipping many non-newspaper class hours to work in the publications room in high school.

      The two facets of his life would co-exist without crossing until a move to Charleston and its history of billiards gave him the inspiration of human stories and late nights, with real characters stretched to their most courageous and cunning. Paul is working his way around the country, looking through the rich history and current vibrancy of the American pool room.
