Hohmann started the final match by taking the lead, at o­ne point taking a four-point cushion at 9-5.  A miscue o­n the 6 by Hohmann allowed Kennedy to make a comeback, see-sawing until he closed his deficit to within o­ne rack of the German at 12-11.  Kennedy blew his chance of tying it o­n the hill when he missed a tough cut o­n the 3, allowing Hohmann to the table to run out to take the 13-11 win.
