Brushless Pool Table Cleaner Will Also Sponsor TV Events in 2004

Billiard Cub Network is proud to announce the addition of Quick-Clean, the brushless pool and billiard table cleaner, as a new sponsor of Billiard Club television. 30-second commercials and in show promos for the product have escalated sales to prompt the agreement.

"We’ve been looking for the right promotional vehicle to help increase sales," said Dave Hodges, owner and manufacturer of the product. "Our phone seems to ring a lot more when BCtv plays o­n cable and the viewers see me cleaning the table during the U S Open broadcasts. What really convinced me was the live Internet broadcast of the Derby City Classic o­nline at BCn, the phone just kept o­n ringing."

Hodges cleaned all tournament tables at both the U S Open 9-Ball Championship and the Derby City Classic after each match. "It got to the point where the players were asking to have the tables cleaned, claiming a better playing cloth speed with more consistency." BCn taped cleaning session during all featured matches at the U S Open and the Derby City Classic to create the commercial spots and in-show promos for the product.

With the assistance of BCn, Dave Hodges set up a new Quick-Clean sales and distribution office in St. Louis, known as Quick-Clean Sales, located along side BCn. "It makes great sense to tie our sales and distribution to the best promotional tool we’ve found yet," added Hodges. "The product is really taking off and the sales and distribution load needed to be somewhat centrally located as part of the marketing and advertising vehicle that’s driving the sales. It’s a great match for Quick-Clean."

Quick-Clean is a dry foam surfactant that is sprayed over the whole table and wiped off the playing surface with a micro-fiber wiper and off the rails with a micro-fiber rag. Quick-Clean emulsifies the chalk and dirt in the table cloth and the micro-fiber wiper removes it from the surface, restoring the cloth. More importantly, Quick-Clean eliminates brushing and vacuuming that harm the fibers and the playability of the cloth.
