Wednesday brought some interesting action when Tony Annigoni met Ryoku Onaga on the winner's side. Annigoni bolted out to a commanding 8-2 lead early in the match, but Onaga took six straight racks to bring the match to hill-hill. The frustration was easy to see in Annigoni's face when he missed normally makeable shots that gave Onaga the comeback opportunity. Annigoni was setting up for his shot on the 7 in the final match when, to his surprise, Onaga conceded the 9-ball to allow him the win. In another nail-biter, Barry Emerson faced off against Danny "Kid Delicious" Basavich, who was fresh off of his Joss NE 9-Ball Finale win. These two players traded the lead back and forth for most of the game, finally reaching hill-hill. Emerson took the win 9-8 and sent Basavich to the west side of the chart. There were other matches that were not as close on Wednesday, exampled by Chohan defeating Robb Saez 9-3 in a lightening-quick match and Cliff Joyner winning 9-3 over Bill "The Houckster" Houck.
