Reyes Emerges With 10K Tour VictoryBy InsidePOOL Staff The 10K Tour drew some new faces to their April 16 event at Bobby D's in Burlington, ontario, as 52 players competed for the top spot of the day. Early on, newcomer Craig Cochrane looked to capture his first tour win, but Eddie Reyes doubled him up in the finals to emerge with the victory.
Cochrane had little trouble cruising through the winners' bracket, as he bested Jeff Dick 7-3 to win the hot seat and earn the first spot in the finals. In the one-loss side, Reyes, who fell in an early-round match, was plowing through, earning a hill-hill win over Justin Zammit and then ousting Darcy McInley 7-0 to reach the semifinals. Reyes then took fire at Dick, sending him home in third place with a 7-1 win. In the finals, Reyes needed two sets to steal the victory from Cochrane, and after a 7-4 win in the first set, he was ready to complete the sweep. In the second set, Reyes dominated the table with his bank shots and cue ball control, helping him to snare the 10K Tour victory.
