Ralf Souquet and Grady "The Professor" Mathews matched up in Round 5. Mathews started off poorly, losing the first two games, but fought back to knot the score at 2. Souquet, perhaps tired from the late-night ring game the night previous, could only watch as Mathews banked 4 and then 1 for the 5-0 win of the hill game.
