Sambajon Successful at Spot Shots Joss Event by InsidePOOL Magazine

IanCostelloJoss.jpgAfter defeating TJ Laflamme in the hot seat match, Sambajon patiently waited for the next contender, which turned out to be Viera.  A legend in the northeast, Viera won their first set by the score of 9-6.  However, Joss NE Tours go by a double-elimination format.  The final match saw both players going back and forth with few balls made on either's break.  In the end, Sambajon just played stronger, and he won the match by the score of 9-3.

The next Joss NE Tour event will take place at Pro Billiards in Albany, New York, in two weeks.

1st - Santos Sambajon, Jr. $1,300

2nd - Carlos Viera $900

3rd - TJ Laflamme $700

4th - Mike Zuglan $550

5th/6th - Ian Costello (pictured), Shane Cote $400

7th/8th - Darren Belliveau, Chad Bazinet $225

9th/12th - Dave Hall, Mark Ransom, David Rowell, Rick Matarazzo $125
