Seeseman Earns Hard-Fought Victory in Niagara FallsBy InsidePOOL Staff The 10K Tour wrapped up its spring season on May 7-8 at Color of Money Billiards in Niagara Falls, ontario, with a new winner emerging. Glen Seesemann, who has played sparingly on tour this year, took his first 2005 victory by defeating Danny Kolacz 7-4. It wasn't completely easy for Seesemann, though, as the field of 50 hopefuls were vying for points toward the championships finals in June. Many former winners were also in the field, including 15-year-old John Morra, Chris Orme, and Jason Holdaway. But Seesemann kept his cool, earning a trip to the finals with a tough 7-4 win over Holdaway in the hot seat. Over on the one-loss side, Adam Smith took out Orme, but Smith went home in the following match after Al Smart downed him 9-8. Kolacz made his move by ousting Smart and then Holdaway in the semifinals to advance on to the title match. In double-elimination finals, Seesemann just needed one match win to capture the victory, but in the first set, Kolacz took control and easily won 8-3. However, Seesemann bounced back and took home his first 10K Tour win 7-4.
