For the second and last set of the finals, tournament director Scott Smith chose to move the players o­ne table over, citing as the reason the corner ball went every time o­n the first table.  Owen won the first two games, then missed a tough combo, and Daulton ran the next two racks to tie the score at 2-all.  Owen managed to get ahead 6-3 against his opponent, but then he missed a shot o­n the 1 ball.  Daulton took every advantage, won that rack, and then again ran the next seven racks perfectly to win the set 11-6.  The well-mannered Owen never got out of his seat except to indicate a concession after every rack Daulton won.

Daulton collected $3,500 for first place, while Owen settled for $1,750 for second place.  Owen will be playing at the South Padre Island tournament in two weeks, while Daulton is thinking about participating in the Mid-Atlantic event this upcoming week.
